Tommy was the proverbial "boy-next-door" from age 10 until we graduated in '65. He was my "first" date -- arranged by our meddling mothers -- a Jackson Jr High "Sock Hop," which was really funny, since neither of us could dance!
I recall the shock of learning his plane had crashed (in 1973 or 1974, I think)-- and the realization that he was gone... He was much too young. Always a true gentleman, and forever a good friend. Still miss him!
Tommy was a shining example of leadership. We learned a lot in school from Tommy and sometimes did not even realize it. I am glad that he was a part of my life and I appreciate what he stood for all through school. Part of his standards and guiding leadership has rubbed off on me and I am sure the other classmates. Your spirit lives on through your example of leadership. Thank you Tommy.
